EJIDO EL MAGUEY

Located in the heart of the Sierra Madre Occidental, the Ejido El Maguey is one of the only places in Durango, if not the only one, where we can observe the Thick billed parrot Rynchopsitta pachyrhyncha. In addition because of the great topographical broken range and different altitudes of the mountains,  you can also watch a large diversity of mountain and Quebrada birds, including the Cyanocorax Dickey.

This first trip in the Maguey region is one of many that we will be doing to explore the area and to conform El Maguey Bird List, which we think will be one of the most interesting of Mexico, we will also fish for an endemic trout in the crystal clear water of the mountain creeks.

This expedition, is a great opportunity to travel in the mountains of Mexico in an exciting adventure where you can leave all the details to us, with experienced guides that will make you stay with us, one than you can remember with pleasure forever.
