Day 1 -Durango
|
Afternoon arrival, transfer to hotel, city tour,
dinner and hotel night.

| Day 2 -Durango/Charcos |
We leave very early in the morning, driving through
the town of el Mezquital the door to the indian country
in Durango in this case the Tepehuano community of
Santa Maria Ocotan and Xoconoztle. The strategy of
the trip will be that of leaving early and watch birds
on the road till 11 AM, at which time we will pick
up the pace. After lunch we'll go on to our camping
site for this evening, set up camp and do an afternoon
bird watching hike in the vicinity of our camp site,
return to camp dinner and a camping night.Durango

| Day 3 -Charcos/La Guerra |
Early breakfast, morning bird watching hike till
11 Am to continue on to Tepalcates where will have
lunch at this point we are leaving Tepehuano country
and going into Huichol land. We continue on to La
Guerra at 425 mts asl where we'll set up camp and
take an afternoon bird watching hike, return to camp,
dinner and camping night. Charcos 2600 mts asl, Consuelos
mountain 2900 mts asl, La Guerra 425 mts asl

| Day 4 -La Guerra/San
Blas |
Early breakfast and morning bird watching hike along
the Santiago river, leaving at midmorning to Jesus
Maria and on to Mesa del Nayar where Huichol territory
ends and we continue on Cora land, we will eat lunch
here and do some bird watching in the El Fraile are
to continue to San Blas, dinner and hotel night. La
Guerra 425 mts asl, La Cumbre 1800mts asl, San Blas
50 mts asl.

| Day 5 -San Blas |
Early morning departure for a boat bird watching
tour in the canals of la Tovara visit to the crocodile
farm and breakfast at the Tovara springs, back to
San Blas lunch and late afternoon tour to the shrimp
ponds to bird watch in the agricultural area of Guadalupe
Victoria, return to hotel dinner and hotel night.

| Day 6 -San Blas/Mazatlán |
Early morning departure with all our things to the
Singayata area (one of the best bird atching area
in San Blas) and take a bird watching hike in this
area continue to Mazatlan free
afternoon hotel night.

| Day 7 -Mazatlán/Destino |
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for our
flights back home end of tour.
