Day 1 -Durango

Afternoon arrival, transfer to hotel, city tour, dinner and hotel night.

After breakfast we leave in our transport vehicle to a 110 miles, part of if dirt road,with an estimate of 5 hrs driving time, depending of the road condition. Eat lunch on the way and stopping a few times to stretch and take some photographs. Arriving at Tecolote site in the afternoon, register. Dinner by the campfire, Cabins night.

Early morning bird watching breakfast, trek in the country by the creek visit the twin waterfalls of the tecolote, explore the area, eat lunch and head on back to camp. Dinner by the fire, Cabins night.

Day 4 -Vencedores / Basis Canyon

Breakfast early in the morning after which we board our vehicle to drive down an espectacular mountain road to the bottom of the Basis canyon, lunch on the way and once on the bottom we visit Sapioris village and the San Jose of Basis Mission with its 400 year old church later in the afternoon we set up camp by the Remedios river, fantastic dinner camping night.

Early morning bird watching trek along the Remedios river, breakfast and a little playing around in the fresh waters of the river. lunch after which we go on another bird watching trip but this time through the banana, mangos, limes, and other trees orchards. the floor of the canyon is at only 1200 feet above sea level so the birds we see are totally diferent from the ones we saw up in Vencedores at 8000 feet. back to camp . dinner and cabins night.

Early morning departure with all our things back to Durango although the drive is not devoid of excite as we drive up this exciting mountain road, it is a 9 hrs trip back to Durango. lunch on the way. check in the hotel where we will also have dinner.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for our flights back home end of tour.
